California Author's Invitational 2012 - Jennifer Martin

Having met Jennifer personally, and knowing the full story behind her novel, The Huna Warrior: The Magic Begins, I was already intrigued…had I not, and happened upon her website, I would be immediately struck bythe opening sentence:
“In the Polynesian language, the word Huna means that which is hidden and refers specifically to knowledge of the spiritual nature of man.”
I asked Jennifer to tell me a little about her time at Cal Expo for the California Author’s Exposition and she had this to say:
“I've been sharing a spot at the California Author's Booth for six years with my husband, Bud Gardner, co-author of “Chicken Soup for the Writers Soul”, part of the New York Times best-selling series. The Huna Warrior: The Magic Begins, plunges us into the enigmatic world of the ancient Hawaiian kahunas and Kat Romero's discovery that she has inherited their powers. This supernatural thriller is a bronze-medal winner of Independent Publisher's Magazine's 2007 IPPY Awards for Best Visionary Fiction.
Bud and I have been loving our time at the State Fair. Many visitors are
returnees, some are former students, and all are excited to meet and greet
California authors in person. It's also fun for us to visit with our fellow
Authors, and find out about their books and how they're experiencing the life of anauthor.”
Jennifer’s bio is an impressive must see for any aspiring author, and I encourage all to read it and buy her novel, The Huna Warrior: The Magic Begins.
I,for one, am honored to have met her and be in her company as one of this year’s California Author’s invitees.
